The Mt Tamborine is one of Queensland’s boutique wine regions. It boasts an outstanding array of charming boutique wineries and vineyards making award-winning wines. Many of the cellar doors and restaurants in this region have been established in historic buildings, offering visitors an outstanding wine exploring experience. This wine area is located only a short hour drive from the Gold Coast and an hour from Brisbane. Benefiting from the cooler inland climates surrounding Mt Tamborine, the area is suitable for a variety of grape types including Verdelho, Merlot, Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Chardonnay.

In addition to wineries, our tours also include a visit to Australia’s most awarded Tamborine Mountain Distillery. It is nestled atop a beautiful mountain, set against a backdrop of lush sub-tropical rainforest. The highlight is its gorgeous Elizabethan Tudor style building, constructed in the time-honoured traditions called Tasting Room where you can taste a very large range of Liqueurs and Spirits. The Tamborine Mountain Distillery has amassed hundreds of national and international awards for its handmade liqueurs, schnapps, and vodkas over the last quarter of a century.
